Planning a multimodal text


When students are writing a multimodal text or reflecting on a multimodal text they have written, this template may be useful. It contains several sections:

  • What is my purpose?
  • Who is my audience?
  • How is the image composed?
  • What is the relationship between the image, text and audience?
  • What was effective? How could I improve this text?


A template to structure student thinking as they plan or reflect on a multimodal text.
