Every time that TRIO’s friend sends us another cultural perspectives lesson, we get excited. I know I will learn something from her lessons but I also know that students ALWAYS enjoy these lessons. They are all easy to teach and can be inserted into a variety of lesson plans for a variety of grades. This lesson looks at Buddhist monks from the view point of members of a community who wear uniforms and what the uniform represents. A simple way to discuss learning across the curriculum and develop intercultural understanding. If you want to access this resource click here.
