Students will enjoy examining the artwork Untitled by Jonathan Jones. The artwork has been installed in the grounds of the recently renovated Hyde Park Barracks in Sydney NSW. It explores a symbol used by Aboriginal people for the emu. The broad arrow was also used on convict clothes. This lesson has been designed for students in years 5-6 and the focus is on art appreciation.
